The perfect luggage for kids.
Want to get more compliments on your kids luggage than you got on your new car? Check out these age-appropriate travel bags.
Age 1-5 The Scootcase.
You can’t help but smile when you see the genius design of these pieces of luggage. There is nothing like watching your child roll through a hallway on one of these. The are not only practical, they are a toy! Your kids will love it as much as you do. You really can’t go wrong.
*The trick with these is having a child that can sit up on their own and hold onto the moving vehicle. There are no straps to keep them in place. We waited until our first was two before riding was allowed. Fits most airlines requirements for a carry on and holds all of your kid’s toys and clothes for any length of trip.
6-18 The Rolling Backpack
It’s a suitcase, no it’s a backpack, no it’s both! These rolling backpacks are perfect for school age kids. Choose classic patterns so they won’t have to change out every time the new Disney movie comes out. The plus side for us adults is the roll. So if the kids get tired of carrying them they can switch to rolling them around. If they get too tired to roll them around, simply connect them to your own piece of luggage and roll them both down the way at the same time.
*They can double duty as their school backpack during the year. This way you don’t have extra luggage taking up space in your house.
BONUS: For Moms only (ok maybe anyone older than 18), but we really mean Mom.
Stella and Dot’s travel bag.
These travel bags come in a variety of colors. It can fit everything you and your loved ones need. Going on a day trip? Pack this! Gone for a weeklong cruise? All you need is this bag! The plus side? Most airlines count this as your purse! So no matter how many days you are using it to escape, you can’t go wrong.
*If the price tag is a little spend for you, justify it as your birthday, Christmas, or Mother’s Day present. Then take the money out of those budgets. Save the packaging so your loved ones can rewrap it on the holiday and “give” it to you then.
All of these bags fit in even the smallest carry-on requirements, so you can rest easy knowing you won’t ever have to check that bag. Plus, any one of these bags will elicit comments of “where did you get that?” Please tell them you saw it on JoyfulJourneyer.com.
